What People Say

41d000_a5a016c0c12e235dd871ab8041e8bc40.webp

Will's style and wording is perfect for his intended goal.  And the book is educational, yet not in a way which would overwhelm the average person.  In this case I am referring to Will's treatment of telomeres.  Anyone who had high school biology should be able to stay up with Will nicely.

And my favorite sentence in chapter 18 is the following: 'In a world that profits from your deterioration, choosing to age well is a rebellious act.'  That is spot-on the truth!!!

About the Author

About the Author

OnSteps Jacmel Haiti_edited_edited.jpg

Will Loiseau, a Brooklyn-born writer raised on Long Island, has possessed a lifelong passion for the creative arts, though he did not initially pursue writing as a career. As a child, words and stories came naturally to him, yet it was not until college that his talent was truly recognized. While studying to become a physical therapist at Florida International University, an English professor took note of Will's innate gift. He saw beyond his choice to follow a scientific path and encouraged him to further develop his writing skills.

Amused at the irony of an English scholar identifying his literary promise in the midst of his science-focused education, Will took his advice to heart. Years later, he began honing his craft, little knowing where it would ultimately lead him. Though he did not abandon his interest in sports medicine and fitness, he slowly discovered within himself the soul of an artist. It would take a life-altering trip abroad for Will to fully connect with his writer's voice, but the seeds of his future career had been planted. When he returned stateside, traumatized but transformed, he turned instinctively to writing to process his experiences. And a true author emerged through the darkness of disaster.

Coping with trauma through prose led to the release of Will's first book, "QUAKE: Horror and Hope in Haiti" - a gripping firsthand account of the 2010 Haitian earthquake. He is also the author of "Young at Any Age: How to Feel Younger, Longer" and "Young at Any Age: Secrets to Slowing the Aging Process," a series about helping others take control of their health, extend their vitality, and thrive at any age.

When he isn’t writing, Will is an avid runner, personal trainer and certified holistic sports nutrition consultant. He has finished races across multiple distances, ranging from 5K runs to the New York City Marathon and the Fort Lauderdale Marathon. He strives to motivate others towards healthy lifestyles, drawing on his blend of personal experience and professional expertise. Currently, Will is working on his next book, continuing to nurture his passion for writing while also spreading awareness of Haitian culture. With his unique background and literary talent, he captivates readers; his nonfiction narratives showcase resilience in the face of adversity. Will Loiseau is making waves in the literary scene, inspiring others with his words.
